In September, A Freeway Painting (Exit) 1994 was auctioned by Deutscher and Hackett, in an otherwise quiet year for Arkley sales.

During the year, two significant donations of ‘white’ drawings were made to public collections – for details, see ‘White’ works on paper (c.1974-78) (with links to individual works):
