This particular work is documented by an undated Polaroid photo in Arkley’s files (reproduced here) – the sole source. The photo is in the same format as Arkley’s file photos of the main works on paper from the other ‘Casual Works’ ensembles Tudor House; and source material (1988 and earlier) [W/P] and Tattooed Head; and source material (1988 and earlier) [W/P], suggesting that this work also dates from 1988. It may have been a preliminary or abandoned earlier attempt at the version shown in ‘Casual Works’.
