This project involved documentation of Arkley and several of his friends wearing the stylized mask. The photographs were evidently taken at the same time as those relating to the ‘Portrait of the Artist and Five Friends’ project (1984-5] [3/M].

The photo reproduced here shows Arkley himself wearing the mask; the others are of John Nixon and Tony Clark. This project is discussed briefly in Carnival 173 (with further images).
