One of several ‘double-door’ size paintings included in Arkley’s 1979 and 1980 exhibitions. Apparently not recorded since it was shown in 1979, this work bears a close relationship to the first two ‘states’ of Paper Construction (1978) [W/P].
The artist’s archive includes slides showing the work both incomplete and then in completed form (with process dates of Nov78 and May79 respectively).
