Black and White Icon (1995) [W/P]

Exhibited at HA Tolarno 9/95, and documented by a slide in Arkley’s archive, this work is based on the same source as Untitled [Icon #2] 1984 [W/P], Pittoresque (1984) [W/P], Self Portrait (1996) [W/P] (on this occasion at least evidently suggesting Arkley’s own self-image), Untitled [‘Head’] (1996?) [W/P] and The Icon Head 1997 [W/P].
