This work is first recorded at auction (several times) in Sydney in 2004 and again in 2007. Despite the title, the image bears no relationship to Arkley’s various ‘Icon Head’ compositions. It may belong to the series of Untitled heads [1-10] 1998 [W/P] catalogued below.
