One of two related ‘white’ works on paper added to this catalogue in 2020: see also Leaves of the Leaf series (6) 1975 [W/P]. Both were given to the present owner in recognition of research and writing, and both relate to the organic imagery in a number of other ‘White’ works on paper: see e.g. Untitled [A57] (c.1974-76) [W/P].

It seems likely that the present work is identical with the drawing exhibited in Arkley’s ‘White + Black’ show at Tolarno in 1995, as noted below (previously unidentified: see ‘White’ W/P.cat.App.1).
