Exhibited in Arkley’s Venice Biennale ‘Home Show’ (1999), this is a typical example of Arkley’s mature approach to colour and decoration.

The treelessness, and hints of Mediterranean migrant taste, are witty and insightful (for a detailed analysis, see Carnival).
