This work has been exhibited and reproduced under several different titles. It was first shown in 1976-77 as Organic Model D (Intuitive Reason) - a slightly different variant of the inscribed title, preferred here. Later, Primal (Thought Form) wa given as the title in the 1991 Monash retrospective and in Spray. Despite the various aliases, a single work is involved, as installation photos make clear.

Large Organic Model (1977) [W/P] is a work on paper version.
